Francisco and Tracy chose the inviting Preservation Park, ( a re-creation of a Victorian neighborhood for their wedding venue. The bridal party and guests enjoyed the feeling of a private, little “town” all to themselves with vows at the Pavilion, drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the fountain and dinner/dancing in the vintage Nile Hall. The lush gardens, period park benches, ornate wrought iron fences, old fashioned street lamps and Parisian fountain are delightful aspects to highlight an elegant event-a downtown Oakland jewel. They survived a long distance relationship while Francisco worked in LA nurturing their lives with daily emails, phone calls, camping trips and other travels, including a vacation tour of Spain. Wishing them continued joy, happiness and adventure in their married life.
